Pro Mujer Bolivia is a microfinance institution for women with low incomes. It also provides business and empowerment training, and access to health services. Pro Mujer Bolivia works across the nine regions of the country.
Programas para la Mujer (Pro Mujer) International began in Bolivia in the city of El Alto in 1990 and is now an international microfinance organisation headquartered in the United States. Pro Mujer operates in five Latin American countries: Argentina, Bolivia, México, Nicaragua, and Peru.
Pro Mujer Bolivia was founded in 1990 and first partnered with Oikocredit in 2010.
