Amret Ltd (Amret) started as a rural credit project in 1991. In 2001, Amret became the first Cambodian microfinance institution (MFI) to be licensed.
Today, Amret provides saving products and loans to low-income clients and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) operating across many of Cambodia’s provinces via its network of offices.
Oikocredit first partnered with Amret in 2004.
